Our two cats have a lot in common but in some ways they could not be more different. One of our cats would be perfectly fine if you were to leave for a week and leave behind a giant bowl of food. In fact, Leo would just eat a little but here and there. He would ration it for the whole week and would be perfectly fine, no issues.

However, Milo is quite the opposite. If you leave him the entire bowl he will devour it immediately. The concept of portioning his food does not exist. He is constantly ravenous and is always looking to eat. To this end, he has woken my wife up at 5am in the morning countless times.

However a few months ago our worlds were forever changed when we decided to try automatic pet feeders. We bought two, one for each cat.  I can honestly say its some of the best money I have ever spent. We have our ANMER A25 Automatic Pet Feeder feed our cats three times I day. Once at 4am, once at noon and once at 8pm. We simply selected the portion size, recorded our voices (the feeder has an audio cue to let the cats know its time to eat) and filled up our devices.

As a result, Milo no longer wakes up my wife at 5am every morning as he was fed at 4am. We also don’t ever have to say “We have been out for quite some time, we better get home to feed the cats”. If you have owned cats I am sure there have been times were you had to return home in order to feed them. We now no longer have that concern.

My one regret is we waited so long to purchase them. I am not kidding when I say it has literally changed our lives. The feeder holds two weeks of food and has simplified my life more than I ever imagined. We are big fans of the Anmer’s Pet feeder but we considered a few other option. Below you have the PYRUS Large Automatic Cat Feeder  which we really liked. It was comparably priced and was very well reviewed. Automatically we felt Anmer’s version just matched our decor better.

We also strong considered the PetSafe Healthy Pet Simply Feed  as seen below. It was a really high end model with more storage and a little  bit more in terms of functionality. At the time it was the highest review but ultimately because we wanted to buy two, the $129 price point seemed a little steep. However, if were only going to purchase 1, this probably would have been it.

The last one I want to recommend is a lower cost option. For a lot of people $129 or even $69 is a lot to spend on a pet feeder. For those people I would recommend the Pet Feeder WOpet is a much more affordable option. At $29 it is much more affordable and can help give you the flexibility automatic pet feeders give pet owners.

Well there you have it. I haven’t regretted getting my ANMER A25 Automatic Pet Feeder for  a second and highly recommend it. I would recommend checking out the options above and see what works best for you. Whatever option you choose will surely afford you flexibility and extra sleep if you have a cat like Milo. Thanks for reading and have an awesome day!
